Grafham Updates
Wednesday 2nd April
11.30am
All arrived safely. We've had a play outside and are now sorting our rooms. Everyone is excited!
2.00pm
Beds made, lunch finished and afternoon activities about to start.
3.30pm
An afternoon of sailing, canoeing, paddleboarding, crate stacking and high ropes. After tea tonight we have the Grafham Challenge. Menu choices tonight include chicken curry, macaroni cheese and veg/salad.
7.00pm
Everyone enjoyed supper as they were hungry. Now ready for the Grafham Challenge!
Thursday 3rd April
7.45am
First dormitory awake at 6.00am and chatting! Bedroom inspections taking place before breakfast and rooms looking tidy with beds made.
10.15am
Breakfast was eggs, hash browns, beans, cereal and toast and lots of children went back for more. Great weather today and the children are very excited as we start our morning activities.
3.15pm
Lunch was wraps and salad or a roll with salad with filling options of tuna, egg or cheese. Fruit and strawberry yoghurt for pudding.
This afternoon's activities have included high ropes and stacking crates which has involved 3 children stacking the crates. The highest so far is a stack of 8 crates. The children have all enjoyed themselves!
